Glanmire Flood Relief Scheme -Roadworks Update
The flood Relief Project (Glashaboy Flood Relief Scheme) in Glanmire has been progressing well.
Sorensen Civil Engineering have provided the following information for road operations in Glanmire over the Christmas period.
Stop/Go and Traffic lights at Springmount which was operating 24 hrs a day has ceased for the holiday period. Traffic is now free flowing in this area. Stop go system will return on Tuesday 2nd January.
Stop/Go at New Line/Copper Valley Vue from 9am to 5pm daily. This is also ceased for the holiday period. Will be back in place on 2nd January for approximately 2 weeks. This is for emergency flood protection works.
Stop/Go and Traffic Lights in Sallybrook Ind Estate will return on 2nd January.
In summary, there will be no traffic management operating again until 2nd January 2024.
